If I'm riding with my quick pals (V4 Street fighter, V4 Touno, etc), then the 1290 GT makes it much easier to ride at the higher speeds. I can keep up* on the 1250, but it's much harder work and I'm riding much closer to the limit. The KTM had proven to be the more reliable

The r1250rs is a fine bike, but the r1250gs is the better bike in the BMW as it’s the flagship. BUT not many 5’2” people are going to be able to ride it. I’d go with the Suzuki given the two options. They are supposed to be superb from everything I have read and watched.
