We all found it the perfect long distance light adventure bike. It does ride tall which is a turn off for shorter riders. Anyway, after this adjustments, lever fits well. However, it is not shorter than OEM lever, so my little finger is still in jeopardy. I will keep on searching for shorter lever. Remove clear lens. Gently remove rear reflector/light as wiring is attached. Push black turn signal assembly onto mount. Something that's not mentioned much is the rather narrow turn radius. I spent over a thousand to have my 690 revalved and setup properly. My suspension guy said the 690 is setup more like a MX bike, able to survive big air jumps and pounding whoops. It will never be compliant on trials without some work. Also the rear is under-sprung with too much preload. Second is almost the same, third is between third and fourth of the KTM, same with fourth gear and as you can see, fifth of the BMW is taller than sixth of the KTM. At race pace on the track, the 6 speed of the KTM would win, but in the real world, with a slower rider (ME), the BMW’s gearing is better.
